Only 100 medals for Women Open category.
Certificate with completion time imprinted will be mailed to finishers who complete in the stipulated qualifying time (i.e. 2hrs 20min for Women Open which is impossible for me).
Many have warned that the route is undulating and tough.
But I do not care. I will still be the King (or Queen) tomorrow. Just treat it as the regular Hartamas LSD training with additional 2.7km to tackle. Just complete the course. Just run.
Adidas King of The Road, on 10th August 2008, 22.7km, starting at 6.45am.
Thanks Mr. Wan for helping me to collect the bib and vest. My number is D68, a very auspicious number indeed! It also comes with a packet of Adidas Hair & Body After Sport shower gel.
However, I have one thing to complain. Do you notice that the vest is just plain with the Adidas logo? Some of the running mates have their t-shirt imprinted with the KOTR logo, but mine one is just plain!
Why this happens? Then what's so special about this running vest? I can simply buy any running vest outside of any brand. Even though I couldn't wear sleeveless top, but I still want to keep it as memento. Who knows I may hit the lottery one day and get the excessive arm skin removed with a surgery?

good luck and all the best!
Thanks very much! :)
See ya tomorrow. Knowing how determined you are I wont be surprised if you can cut the 2:20 thingy. am I gonna suffer, doris, I havent been training! Eh...truelah, your vest shud've the race logo. I suspect they ran out of the printed vest. It was quite a commotion at the collection center yesterday...I had to queue for over 1 hour!
My trainings these days had no quality. Maybe Mr. Wan is right, I am moving ahead too soon, forcing myself too much.
Anyway, I just run, just to complete the course. No matter how I perform tomorrow, I think I am 99% going for the marathon thingy in SIM. A few running buddies have signed up, I am looking forward for the trainings which are full of sweat, tear and fun!
See you tomorrow too! All the best to all of us!
